The new version of "We Are the World" made its world premiere Friday during NBC's coverage of the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics. The clip was directed by Oscar-winner Paul Haggis, and shows images of devastation from the island nation after the January 12th earthquake. It also shows some of the 85 artists who gathered in Los Angeles earlier this month to re-record the 1985 charity anthem. The clip prominently shows Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Scherzinger, Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles, Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Fergie, Josh Groban, LL Cool J, Nick Jonas, Lil Wayne (helped by auto-tune), Jeff Bridges, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus and Wyclef Jean. The highlight of the video features Michael Jackson singing with his sister Janet.
Wellllllllllll... Even though I'm a Giants fan, I was kind of leaning towards the Colts. If Eli Manning wasn't in it, then I wanted his brother Peyton to pull it off. But the Saints out-played and out-smarted the Colts 31-17 last night in Superbowl XLIV (that's 44, since we aren't living in Roman times!!) But I have to give it up to the Saints- Congrats!! It's a great thing for that team and for that city to win!
Commercials: Good or Bad??
They were... Ummm.... OK. Doritos had a great run of ads and I defiantly loved the T-Pain auto-tune ad from Bud Light. See that one below and a few other of my favs.
He's a singer/songwriter and music producer raised in the UK. He's already picked up a Brit Award (British Pop Music Award) and was nominated for a "MOBO" (Music of Black Origin Award). His name is Taio Cruz (Pronounced: Tie-oh) and he's my must-have music for this week! Check out the Jason Derulo/Jay Sean-ish sound of "Break Your Heart" from Taio Cruz!
The biggest night in music was last night- The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards! Beyonce and Taylor Swift were among the BIG winners (see below for a winner list). Drake, Weezy and Em closed the show with "Forever" and Gaga stole the show (of course) with Elton John! Check out the performance:

AP NEWS Reports that Conan O'Brien told NBC good riddance Thursday in a $45 million deal for his exit from "The Tonight Show," allowing Jay Leno to return to the late-night program he hosted for 17 years.
Under the deal, which came seven months after O'Brien took the reins from Leno, O'Brien will get more than $33 million, NBC said. The rest will go to his 200-strong staff in severance.
Compensation for O'Brien's staff and crew was the final hurdle in negotiations. O'Brien was said to have been "dug in" on the issue out of concern for the workers, while NBC said this week that it had already agreed to pay "millions of dollars to compensate every one of them" and deemed it a public relations "ploy."
On Wednesday night's show, speaking of a push to get a severance deal for his staff from NBC, O'Brien joked, "At first they thought I was gullible. They said the staff would be taken to a big farm, where they'd be allowed to run free forever."
O'Brien's final show will be Friday, with Tom Hanks scheduled to appear as well as Will Ferrell -- his first guest as "Tonight" host last June.

Since I'm team Letterman/Furgeson for late night talk shows... Here is Dave's take on the NBC/Jay Leno/Conan "Debacle":
NBC intends to move The Jay Leno Show to 11:35 PM next month and push The Tonight Show back to 12:05 AM but today, Conan O'Brien released a statement in which he says he will not do The Tonight Show at the new time. In the statement, O'Brien says, "I cannot express in words how much I enjoy hosting this program and what an enormous personal disappointment it is for me to consider losing it. My staff and I have worked unbelievably hard and we are very proud of our contribution to the legacy of The Tonight Show. But I cannot participate in what I honestly believe is its destruction." Conan also goes on to say that he has not had any offers from other networks for different jobs and that he is hoping that he and NBC can resolve their issues.
