Hot 98-1 voted #1 station at Clemson once again!
Every year, The Tiger newspaper dedicates an issue to those individuals, groups, and businesses the student body agrees to be the best. For the 3rd year in a row the New Hot 98-1 was voted the #1 radio station on campus!
Our thanks to all the Tigers out there who voted for us, and as thanks for the votes, we are going to continue delivering 50 minutes of Hit music every hour on the New Hot 98-1, Carolina's New #1 Hit Music Station!

"What do you usually listen to when you hop in the car and turn up the tunes? If you said HOT 98.1 then you are with the majority of students who voted in our online poll to pick "The Place for All That Is Hot in Carolina" HOT 98.1 as the best radio station in the area. The radio station, which features rap and R&B music, is fairly new in the area, but in its short lived life it has become one of the top stations in the upstate.
HOT 98.1 has contests each week for listeners to take part in so that they can win tons of freebies. They also get their listeners involved with their "I am the New Hot 98.1," which allows listeners to receive a free newsletter to keep them up to date on what is going on with the radio station, to help them pick the music they want to hear on the radio and to maybe even receive a call so that they can be on the radio and let listeners know that they are the New HOT 98.1.
Not only does the station blast out their music over the airwaves, but radio personalities of the station take time to be a part of the community around them as well. Listeners can spot them at various events in the upstate, from high school football games to fund-raisers in the community.
